Health authorities are warning parents to fasten windows with
secure locks after three toddlers have fallen through windows since
April.
B-C Children's Hospital and the B-C Ambulance Service say the
potential of young children slipping through windows increases as
the warm weather heats up.
They say falls occur most often at a child's home, during the
afternoon when windows are open or not fully secured because their
family is home.
Paramedics have treated a slew of critical injuries from such
accidents, ranging from broken bones to face and head trauma.
Just want to make sure you enjoy summer with no accidents.
