Provincial Avalanche Warning Has Expired but Public Remains on Alert

The Avalanche Warning has expired in parts of the province, but the public should remain vigilant.

Karl Klassen with the Canadian Avalanche Centre says the threat of avalanches is in tact in the back country.

Klassen says the layers are showing early signs of settling down, but although there are fewer avalanches now, the slides are unpredictable.
