A Year Old Homicide File Resurfaces, Penticton Man Arrested and Charged with Murder

A 40 year old Penticton man has been arrested and charged in connection with the homicide death of a local resident.

Police have laid a second degree murder charge against Michael Richard Beuchamp for allegedly killing 53 year old Terrence Dale Wooley behind  Slack Alice's bar back in April of last year.

Police attended and located Wooley unconscious near the back door, he was then transported to hospital in critical condition with severe head injuries leading to his death a month later.

Beauchamp's legal custody appeared in court on Monday, he remains in custody. 

A police press conference is expected Tuesday with Wooley's family conveying a message to the public.
